MVS is assisting the Maryland Judicial Information Systems (JIS), Division of the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) to improve the delivery of these services by improving the data collection, data management, and data sharing across agencies. Specifically, MVS’s team is assisting JIS upgrade the information systems that support JIS’s marriage licensing, property tax collection, abandoned property, and notary commissioning functions. For the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, MVS was called upon to manage & maintain 65 Dell Servers for a period of 3 years.

 

For DC Fire and EMS (DC FEMS), MVS developed a custom web-based solution to track juvenile fire setters in the District. The new web-based application allows officials to track and map the actions of fire setters, and enables DC FEMS to efficiently analyze data which reveals potential fire risks in the District.

For the District Government, Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), MVS provides its consulting services through the Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract. MVS’s team has assisted OCTO’s Application Solutions, Information Security, and Shared Infrastructure departments. Our team has assisted OCTO improve the IT and telecommunications performance across the District; we have developed and implemented major citywide applications; and, our team has supported the establishment of enterprise architecture and website standards.

For the District of Columbia Public Schools, MVS has developed custom educational technology solutions using SMART Technology and has upgraded over 100 DCPS classrooms and provided SMART certified training to over 100 DCPS teachers.

 

For DC Fire and EMS (DC FEMS), MVS designed and developed new web-based software for the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) asset tracking system. The software is a customized application developed to provide the DC FEMS a consolidated system to interface with three existing databases, enabling them to maintain required data and ensure that all equipment complies with regulations.
